The aim of the Save Christison Park Action Group is to protect and preserve  local natural environment.  The Save Christison Park Action Group formed in 2008 when residents and park users successfully opposed Woollahra Council’s proposal to erect flood lights in Christison Park. Over 2,500 people signed our petition to stop those lights. Presently we are engaged in a campaign to stop more lights and reduction of open space natural environment.
